Shipping Information
Where do you ship?
We ship to all addresses within South Africa. Our products are sourced from international suppliers and shipped directly to you.
Shipping times
Because our products ship internationally, delivery times are longer than local retailers. Please expect the following:
- Standard Shipping: 8–30 working days from order confirmation
- Express Shipping: 3–7 working days (where available, at additional cost)
Delivery times vary depending on the product, warehouse location, customs processing, and your delivery address. We provide a tracking number for every order so you can monitor your shipment.
Please Note: International shipments may be subject to customs processing and occasional delays beyond our control. Estimated delivery dates are approximate and not guaranteed.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order and delivery address. Many products qualify for free shipping — this is clearly indicated on the product page and at checkout. When shipping costs apply, you will see the exact amount before you pay.
Tracking your order
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can also track your order at any time on our Track Order page.
Returns & Refunds
Cancellations
- Before shipping: If your order has not yet been dispatched by our supplier, you may request a full cancellation and refund. Contact us as soon as possible at support@bagitdropshop.com.
- After shipping: Once your order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. You must wait to receive the item and then follow the returns process below.
Returns policy
We accept returns and offer refunds or replacements under the following conditions:
- Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or not functioning as described, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos or video of the issue. We will arrange a refund or replacement at no cost to you.
- Wrong Item Received: If you receive the wrong product, contact us within 14 days of delivery with a photo. We will arrange a replacement or full refund.
- Item Not Received: If your tracking shows no movement for an extended period and your item has not been delivered within 60 days of dispatch, contact us for a full refund or resend.
We do NOT accept returns for:
- Change of mind or buyer's remorse
- Incorrect size, colour, or variant ordered by the customer
- Items damaged due to misuse after delivery
- Opened beauty, hygiene, or personal care products
- Jewellery (earrings, piercings) for hygiene reasons
- Items where the shipping address was provided incorrectly by the customer
- Minor cosmetic differences from product images (colour shade, packaging design)
- Damaged outer packaging boxes (due to international shipping)
Important: To process any return or refund, we require photo or video evidence of the issue. Claims submitted without evidence, or submitted after the 14-day window, may not be accepted.
How to request a return/refund
Email support@bagitdropshop.com with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos or video showing the problem
- The date you received the item
We aim to respond within 2 business days and resolve all disputes within 7 business days.
Refund processing
Once a refund is approved, it will be processed within 3–5 business days back to your original payment method (card via Yoco). The time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank.
Return shipping
Due to the international nature of our supply chain, we generally do not require items to be returned. In most cases, we will issue a refund or send a replacement without requiring a return. If a return is required in exceptional circumstances, we will provide return instructions and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Consumer Protection
BagIT Dropshop complies with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECT Act) of the Republic of South Africa.
Under the CPA, consumers have the right to:
- Return goods that are defective, unsafe, or not fit for purpose
- Receive goods that match their description
- Cancel direct marketing transactions within 5 business days (cooling-off period for unsolicited marketing only)
Please note: The 5-day cooling-off period under Section 16 of the CPA applies only to unsolicited direct marketing (e.g., if we contacted you first). It does not apply to purchases you initiated voluntarily on our website.
Privacy Policy
BagIT Dropshop is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
- Name, email, phone number, and delivery address (to process and deliver your orders)
- Payment information is processed securely by Yoco — we never store your card details on our servers
- Browsing data via cookies (for site functionality and basic analytics)
How we use your information
- To process and deliver your orders
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and delivery notifications
- To send marketing emails (only if you subscribed — you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To improve our website and product offerings
We will never
- Sell your personal information to third parties
- Share your data with anyone except our payment processor (Yoco) and shipping/fulfilment partners as necessary to complete your order

Terms & Conditions
By placing an order on bagitdropshop.com, you agree to the following:
- All prices are displayed in South African Rands (ZAR).
- Prices may fluctuate due to exchange rate changes. The price at the time of your purchase is final.
- Product images are for illustration purposes. Actual products may vary slightly in colour, size, or packaging.
- We reserve the right to change prices, modify products, or discontinue items at any time without notice.
- Orders are subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable after your order, we will notify you and issue a full refund.
- BagIT Dropshop acts as a retail intermediary. Products are sourced from international suppliers and shipped directly to you.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services, or courier companies.
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery addresses. We are not liable for non-delivery due to incorrect address information.
- By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receiving marketing communications. You may unsubscribe at any time.
Limitation of liability
BagIT Dropshop's total liability for any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that specific order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
